About this notebook
Bootstrapper Agent is a fan-made guide to the best advice for bootstrapped software founders, and a finder that narrows it to the few things worth your time this week.
What this is
MicroConf has spent years recording talks from founders who built software companies without venture money, and Rob Walling has been publishing Startups for the Rest of Us since 2010. Between them there are hundreds of hours of good advice, and it is hard to know which hour to spend first.
This site is a short, curated library of 78 of those talks, episodes and articles. Each entry has our own notes, a one-line "best for", and tags for the stage of business and the problem it helps with. The finder uses those tags to build a playlist, and its rules are public.
How entries get in
Every entry is a real talk, episode or article that we opened at its official address before adding it. We record the address, the response and the page title we saw. We embed MicroConf talks with YouTube's official player and link podcast episodes and articles to their official pages.
The summaries are ours. We do not copy transcripts, show notes or slides, and we do not invent quotes. If something on this site disagrees with the original, trust the original.
Who made it
Bootstrapper Agent is made by Jeremy Vaught as an independent project. It earns nothing from the talks it links to.
Not affiliated
Bootstrapper Agent is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to MicroConf, TinySeed, Rob Walling or Startups for the Rest of Us. Their names appear here only to describe what we link to. All talks, episodes and articles belong to their creators.
